Meet the Space Cats Team
The Space Cats come from a planet called Trygliceride-7. Their leader is a strange being named D.O.R.C., which stands for "Disembodied Omnipotent Ruler of Cats." D.O.R.C. looks like a floating human head with glasses and a funny voice.
The Space Cats set up their secret base on Earth. It's hidden underground, and the only way in or out is through a regular garbage can! In the live-action parts of the show, you see the Space Cats working at their base.
Their Missions
D.O.R.C. gives each new mission to the team's main leader, Captain Catgut. Then, in the animated parts of the show, Captain Catgut sends out a special team. This team usually includes Tom, Scratch, and Sniff. They go on adventures to solve the problems D.O.R.C. tells them about.
At the end of every episode, the Space Cats share a moral or lesson with the audience. After that, they sing their team's "Charge" music and shout out their team name! One time, a Space Cat joked that the moral was for kids to stop watching TV and go read a book. The other cats got upset, saying that if kids actually did that, their show would be canceled!
