Space Raiders are a popular British brand of crunchy snacks. They are made from corn and wheat by a company called KP Snacks. These fun, alien-shaped snacks first came out in 1987.

Today, you can find Space Raiders in several tasty flavours. These include Beef, Pickled Onion, Saucy BBQ, and Spicy.

How Much Do Space Raiders Cost?

When Space Raiders first launched in 1987, they cost just 10 pence. This price stayed the same for many years. In late October 2007, the price went up to 15p.

Later, the price changed again, going up to 25p before coming down to 20p. The cost of Space Raiders has changed over time. This happens because the price of the ingredients used to make them can go up and down.

In October 2010, Space Raiders got a new look. They were relaunched in shiny foil packs. These new packs were designed to stand out more on shop shelves. The ingredients were also updated, and a new Saucy BBQ flavour was introduced. These packs cost 20p each.

By 2019, the regular bag of Space Raiders became bigger. It changed to a 25 gram pack. These new, larger packs often have a special message saying 'NEW BIGGER PACK!'

Fun Comics and Characters

For many years, until 2010, Space Raiders bags had mini comic strips on the back. These comics told different stories. Some featured the adventures of 'Astra and her Space Pirates'. Other stories showed aliens who were scared of the loud crunching sound when someone ate Space Raiders!

Now, Space Raiders bags feature different 'Space Raider Stats'. There is one unique alien species for each flavour of the snack.
