Spaced Out (also known in French as Allô la Terre, ici les Martin) is a fun animated series. It was made by several companies, including Alphanim Productions, Tooncan Productions, and Cartoon Network Europe. The show has one season with 26 exciting episodes.

What is Spaced Out About?

The story of Spaced Out follows George Martin and his family. George applies for a job at a big company called Krach Industries. By accident, his application gets picked, and he's hired for a super secret job! He becomes the director of a hidden space station called Operation SOS.

George and his family have to live on this space station as part of an experiment by Krach Industries. When they arrive, they meet other people sent by Krach. They even find their old neighbor and teacher from Earth, Mrs. Schuman, and her son Bobby, living there too! Later, a Russian cosmonaut crashes on the station and decides to join them.

Life on the space station is never boring. The Martin family and their new friends face funny problems, meet aliens, and deal with Krach Industries trying to control everything.

Meet the Characters (Voice Cast)

  • Mark Camacho is the voice of George Martin. He's the boss of the space station. George is in charge of everything, even changing the station from day to night! He doesn't believe in aliens, even when they are right in front of him.
  • Ellen David voices Monica Martin, George's wife. She loves keeping her home tidy and believes in aliens.
  • Eleanor Noble is the voice of Betty Martin. She's George's teenage daughter. Betty loves music and misses her friends from Earth. She's very smart and sometimes shows a caring side to her family.
  • Daniel Brochu voices Benjamin Martin. He's George's son and a big fan of cosmic superheroes. Benjamin also loves computers and technology. He can be a bit rebellious sometimes.
  • Sonja Ball voices Gran, George's mother and the kids' grandmother. She and Monica often don't get along. Gran is also a big fan of fitness!
  • Rick Jones voices Fax and Goodgrief. Fax is the family dog, and Goodgrief is the cat. They often talk about what happened in the episode at the end. Rick also voices Guy, who was sent to the station by Krach and does most of the work there.
  • Susan Glover voices Mrs. Schuman. She's the Martin children's neighbor and teacher, both on Earth and on the space station.
  • Ricky Mabe voices Bobby Schuman. He's Mrs. Schuman's son. Bobby seems friendly to adults but can be mean and tricky with other kids, especially Benjamin.
  • Bruce Dinsmore voices Boris Malakoff. He's a Russian cosmonaut who crashes on the station and decides to stay. Boris becomes the new pilot for the shuttle that goes to Earth.
