Spiller, Ohio facts for kids
Spiller is a small place in Meigs County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it is a group of homes and businesses that is not officially a town or city with its own local government.
Spiller's History
Spiller once had its own post office. This post office opened in 1893. People in the area used it to send and receive mail. The post office stayed open for many years, but it eventually closed in 1918.
Spiller also had its own schoolhouse. Children living in and around Spiller went to this school to learn. The schoolhouse served the community until 1951. After that, students from Spiller likely attended schools in nearby towns or areas.
