The Story of St. Joseph

St. Joseph was founded a long time ago, after the year 1874. It was started by a Catholic priest named Father Louis-Marie Mollier. Many of the first people who lived in St. Joseph were Roman Catholics who came from France or had French family roots.

The community also had its own post office for some years. It was open from 1878 until 1901, helping people send and receive letters.
