History of St Augustine's Church

How the Church Started

St Augustine's Church began its journey in 1935. For many years, the church community did not have its own building. Instead, they met and held their services at Bishop Perrin's School. This continued for quite some time, showing the dedication of the early church members.

Building the Church Home

The community used Bishop Perrin's School as their meeting place until 1958. In that year, the church finally got its own dedicated building. This new building became the permanent home for St Augustine's, allowing the congregation to have a special place for worship and community activities.
