St Patrick's Church refers to two different Roman Catholic churches in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The first church was built between 1889 and 1891. It was designed by an architect named John Kelly. This old building is now a "Grade II listed building," which means it's an important historical building protected by law. It's located on Rider Street, close to New York Road.
In April 2001, St Patrick's Church moved to a new building on Torre Road. The original church building closed, and the new one opened the very next day. The new St Patrick's Church is in the eastern part of Leeds.

History of St Patrick's Church
St Patrick's Church has an interesting history, including building a new home for its community.
Building the First Church
Work on the first St Patrick's Church started in 1889. It was built on Rider Street in Leeds. The church was designed by John Kelly, a well-known architect. He also designed other churches, like All Saints' Church in Petersham, and Sacred Heart Church in Teddington. The church was finished and opened in 1891.
Moving to a New Location
Around 2001, a new St Patrick's Church was built on Torre Road in Leeds. Once the new building was ready, the old church on Rider Street closed its doors. The very next day, the new church opened for its community. The original church building is now used by the West Yorkshire Playhouse, a theatre, and is next to East Street Arts, an arts organization.
