Stefan Elmgren's Musical Journey
Before joining HammerFall, Stefan Elmgren played guitar in a band called Highlander. He also worked on his own music project, which he named Full Strike. In 2002, Full Strike released an album called We Will Rise. Stefan also played guitar for Joacim Cans' solo project, known as Cans. Joacim Cans is the lead singer of HammerFall.
Why Did Stefan Leave HammerFall?
In 2008, Stefan decided to leave HammerFall. He wanted to focus more on his other career as a pilot. Even though he left HammerFall, he continued to play music. He is currently a guitarist for the band Full Force.
Returning to HammerFall Temporarily
In 2014, Stefan Elmgren made a special return to HammerFall. He filled in as the bass guitarist for a short time. This happened because the regular bass player, Fredrik Larsson, was on paternity leave to be with his new baby.
