Steven Corbin (born October 3, 1953 – died August 31, 1995) was an American writer. He was famous for his book Fragments That Remain. This book was even nominated for a special award called the Lambda Literary Award in 1994.
Early Life and Education
Steven was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He went to Essex County College for two years. After that, he moved to the University of Southern California to study filmmaking. However, he decided to leave college to focus on writing. While he was writing, he worked as a secretary and a taxi driver.
His Books and Stories
Steven Corbin started his writing journey by publishing his first novel, No Easy Place to Be, in 1989. Later, he wrote Fragments That Remain in 1993, which became very well-known. His book A Hundred Days from Now came out in 1994. He also wrote many short stories.
Teaching and Later Years
Steven Corbin also shared his knowledge by teaching creative writing. He taught at the University of California. He passed away on August 31, 1995, in New York City.
