Steven Pasquale (born November 18, 1976) is an American actor and singer. He is famous for playing firefighter Sean Garrity in the TV series Rescue Me. He also appeared in the TV show Six Feet Under and the movie Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. Pasquale has also starred in many Broadway plays.

Early Life and First Roles
Steven Pasquale was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After high school, he studied theater at Southern Methodist University for a semester. He then moved to New York City to start his acting career.
In New York, Pasquale performed in many plays. He was the first actor to play the role of Fabrizio in the musical The Light in the Piazza when it opened in Seattle. He couldn't continue the role on Broadway because he was busy filming Rescue Me. He said this was one of the most heartbreaking moments of his professional career.
Pasquale also had the lead role of Chris in the U.S. tour of the musical Miss Saigon in 1998. In 2002, he acted in the musical A Man of No Importance.

Pasquale became well-known for his role as Sean Garrity in the TV series Rescue Me, which was about New York City firefighters. He also had roles in many other TV shows.
In 2013, he was the lead actor in the NBC series Do No Harm. From 2014 to 2015, he played Jonathan Elfman, a campaign manager, in the popular legal drama The Good Wife. In 2016, he played detective Mark Fuhrman in the series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.
Broadway and Music Career
Besides television, Pasquale has a successful career in theater. In 2009, he starred in the Broadway play Reasons to Be Pretty. In 2014, he starred in the Broadway musical The Bridges of Madison County with actress Kelli O'Hara.
He won a Lucille Lortel Award in 2016 for his leading role in the musical The Robber Bridegroom. In 2022, he starred as Sky Masterson in a production of Guys and Dolls alongside his wife, Phillipa Soo.
Pasquale is also a talented singer. In 2009, he released his first album, a jazz record called Somethin' Like Love. In 2024, he released another album called "Some Other Time."
Personal Life
Pasquale has one daughter. He was married to actress and singer Laura Benanti from 2007 to 2013.
In 2017, he married actress and singer Phillipa Soo. The couple practices Transcendental Meditation, a type of meditation.
