What Happens Inside Globen?

The main sport played at Globen is ice hockey. It is the home arena for the Swedish national men's ice hockey team, called Tre Kronor. Many important hockey tournaments have been held here. It's also a popular spot for music lovers. Many famous bands and singers from all over the world have performed concerts at Globen. It can hold up to 16,000 people for concerts, making it a huge venue for live music.

The Unique Shape of Globen

Globen is special because of its round, spherical shape. It looks like a huge white ball. This design makes it stand out in the Stockholm skyline. The building was designed by architects Svante Berg and Lars Vretblad. It took about three years to build, from 1986 to 1989.

On top of Globen, there is a special attraction called SkyView. This is a glass gondola that takes visitors up the outside of the globe. From the top, you can get an amazing view of Stockholm. It's a fun way to see the city from a high point.
