Streamline is a cool British superhero from the "Golden Age" of comics. This was a time when many famous superheroes first appeared. Streamline starred in his own comic book, Streamline Comics, which came out in 1947.
The comic only had four issues, so it was quite short-lived. Streamline was created by two talented people, Denis Gifford and Bob Monkhouse. Later, the character also showed up in other comics like 2000 AD in a story called Zenith. He also appeared in an independent comic series called Black Tower Comics Group Adventures.

Who is Streamline?
Streamline's secret identity is a scientist named Keenan King. He wanted to become super powerful. To do this, he injected himself with a special liquid called Elixir X.
This experiment worked! Keenan King then became known as "the fastest fighter in the world." He gained amazing powers that helped him fight crime and protect people.
Amazing Powers and Abilities
Streamline has several incredible abilities. His main power is super speed. He can move incredibly fast, much quicker than any normal person. This helps him get to places quickly and dodge attacks.
Another cool power he has is a fast healing ability. If he gets hurt, even badly, his body can fix itself very quickly. This means he can recover from serious injuries much faster than others. When he appeared in the Zenith comic series, Streamline also had an extra power: he could create a protective force field around himself. This shield could block attacks and keep him safe.
Streamline's Look: Then and Now
Streamline's costume changed a bit over the years. In his original comics from the 1940s, he wore a bright yellow suit. It had a lightning-bolt shaped 'S' symbol right in the middle of his chest.
He also wore a yellow mask to hide his identity. His boots, gloves, belt, and cape were all blue. When he was brought back in the Zenith comics, his costume looked a little different. He no longer wore a cape. The 'S' symbol was now inside a circle and moved to the left side of his chest. Also, his boots and gloves blended more smoothly with the rest of his suit. The Zenith comics were printed in black and white, so his costume appeared in shades of gray.

The Creators' Publishing Company
After creating Streamline, Denis Gifford and Bob Monkhouse, the original creators, started their own publishing company. It was called Streamline Publications and began around 1949.
Their company reprinted comics from American publishers like Atlas and Harvey. They brought many different types of stories to British readers. This included other Golden Age superheroes such as Captain Might and Master Man. They also published comics in other exciting genres, like the Western comic Flash Streamline Comics and the crime story magazine Spectacular Stories magazine.
