The Strecker's chorus frog (Pseudacris streckeri) is a type of tree frog that is active at night. These small frogs live in the south-central United States. You can find them from southern Kansas down through Oklahoma and east to Arkansas. They also live in the northwestern part of Louisiana and across much of Texas.

What Strecker's Chorus Frogs Look Like

Strecker's chorus frogs are quite small. They can grow to be about 1.5 inches long, which is about 3.5 centimeters. Their skin color can be different shades, from light gray or brown to green.

They often have darker spots or blotches that run along their bodies. A special mark to look for is a dark spot right under their eye. Their belly is usually white, and they might have bright yellow or orange patches near their legs.
