Studio 2 LIVE was a fun children's television show from New Zealand. It was first known as Studio 2 until 2010. Then, it got a new name: Studio 2 LIVE. The show started on March 22, 2004. It took over from WNTV, which was What Now's afternoon show. You could watch Studio 2 LIVE on TV2 every weekday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The show's last episode aired on October 1, 2010.
Studio 2 LIVE also had an exciting website called "The Hub." On this site, the show's presenters would chat with fans. They even kept chatting after the show ended in October 2010. Sadly, "The Hub" website closed down in August 2011.

How the Show Grew
When Studio 2 first started in March 2004, it had two main presenters: Matthew Gibb and Dayna Vawdrey.
In 2005, a new face joined the team. Sela Mahe, who was a contestant on NZ Idol, became a roving reporter. This meant she would report from different places.
By the start of 2006, Jordan Vandermade was introduced as a new co-host. This brought more energy to the show.
In 2007, Studio 2 became even bigger. A new presenter, Vicki Lin, joined the team. The show also started airing six days a week! This included a new Saturday show called Studio 2 Saturday. This Saturday show began in April 2007. It was hosted by Jordan Vandermade and Vicki Lin. The Saturday show also used "The Hub" website a lot. The very last Studio 2 Saturday show aired on December 22, 2007.
In 2008, Studio 2 went back to its usual schedule of five days a week.
In 2009, the show started at a new time, 3:30 p.m. It also began to include a cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants, which would air randomly during the show.
The year 2010 was the final year for Studio 2 LIVE. Vicki Lin did not return to the team. The show came back to TV2 on April 19. It was announced that after seven years, this would be the last year. The very last episode aired on October 1, 2010.

Studio 2 Saturday was a special Saturday version of the show. It started in 2007 after the New Zealand version of Saturday Disney finished. This show worked closely with its website, "The Hub."
Saturday Presenters
The main presenters for Studio 2 Saturday were:
- Jordan Vandermade
- Vicki Lin
Sometimes, you would also see Matthew Gibb or Dayna Vawdrey on the Saturday show. They were the hosts of the weekday Studio 2 show. After Studio 2 Saturday ended, Vicki Lin and Jordan Vandermade became hosts for the weekday version of Studio 2 LIVE.
The Hub Website
The website, the-hub.tv, was a very important part of both Studio 2 Saturday and the weekday show. Presenters, guests, and people who helped with the website (called Web-Ops) would often chat on the site. They would read out messages from viewers at home. Sometimes, they even gave out prizes! The website was used much more often after the Saturday show ended. "The Hub" kept running even after Studio 2 LIVE finished. However, it closed down in August 2012, almost two years after the show had ended.
