What Was the Stupid Group?
The Stupid group was made up of several artists who wanted to use their art to talk about important social and political issues. They believed art should be for everyone, especially for working-class people, and should help bring about change.

How Did They Work?
The artists often met at Anton Räderscheidt's art studio. They were also involved with another art movement called Dada, which was known for being rebellious and questioning traditional art. The Stupid group held art shows together and even published a special magazine called "Stupid 1."
Why Did the Group End?
Even though they had big ideas, the Stupid group didn't last very long. By 1920, Anton Räderscheidt, one of the founding members, had already started to move away from the Constructivist style they had embraced. Soon after, the group broke up.
