Sudanell is a small town, or "municipality," located in the region of Catalonia, Spain. It's part of an area called Segrià. This town is special because it sits right where two rivers, the Segre and the Set, meet. Most people in Sudanell work in farming, growing delicious fruits like peaches, apples, and pears, as well as corn. Two important canals, the Canal de Seròs and the Acèquia de Torres, help bring water to the farms.

Exploring Sudanell: What to See and Do
Sudanell has some interesting places to visit and a special day for celebrations.
Historical Landmarks
- The Cross Head (Creu del Terme): This is an old stone cross that dates all the way back to the 14th century. It's a cool piece of history!
- Saint Peter's Church (Sant Pere): The main church in Sudanell is dedicated to Saint Peter. The original church was built in a style called Romanesque. Later, in the 18th century, it was replaced by a much larger and more detailed building in the Baroque style. It has a very impressive front.
- The Muladar Graves: These ancient graves are the first "necropolis" (which means a burial ground or cemetery) ever found and studied in the Segrià region. They give us clues about how people lived long ago.
Town Celebrations
- Official Town's Holy Day: Sudanell celebrates its special town holiday on the first weekend of October every year. It's a time for the community to come together and have fun!
