Sujata Koirala (born 9 February 1954) is a well-known politician from Nepal. She is the only daughter of Girija Prasad Koirala, who was a former Prime Minister of Nepal.
Sujata Koirala served as the Foreign Minister of Nepal. She held this important role under Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal. Later, on 12 October 2009, she was promoted to Deputy Prime Minister. She has a daughter named Melanie Koirala Jost.
