Sundale, Washington facts for kids
Sundale is a small place in Washington State, in a part of the state called Klickitat County. It's known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that don't have their own local government, like a city or town does. Instead, it's managed by the county government.
A Look Back at Sundale's Past
Sundale has a bit of history, even though it's a small place. A post office was opened there in 1915, which means people could send and receive letters and packages. This post office stayed open for many years, until 1945. The name "Sundale" was given to the community by the railroad company. Railroads were very important back then for travel and moving goods, and they often named the places along their routes.
