- Clinton Junction was another small community. It grew around a sawmill, which is a place where logs are cut into lumber. It also had a post office for a few years, from 1871 to 1874.

- Woodbury is an unincorporated community in the northwest part of the township. 42°45′40″N 85°04′28″W / 42.76111°N 85.07444°W It started in 1889 when a railway line, the Chicago, Kalamazoo and Saginaw Railway, was built through the area. It was named after a railway official. Woodbury had a post office from 1889 until 1933.
