Supreme Moore Omokunde, born on August 22, 1979, is a politician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a Democrat and works to help communities. He has also been known by the names Sowande Ajumoke Omokunde and Supreme Solar Allah.
Since 2021, he has been a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. He represents the 17th Assembly District. Before that, he was part of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors from 2015 to 2020. His mother is Gwen Moore, who is a U.S. Representative.

About Supreme Moore Omokunde
Supreme Moore Omokunde grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has worked as a community organizer for different groups in Milwaukee. Most recently, he helped the Sherman Park Community Association.
His Time in Local Government
In 2015, Supreme Moore Omokunde was elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. This happened in a special election. He took the place of David Bowen. Moore Omokunde was re-elected to this position in 2016 and 2018.
While on the County Board, he led the Health and Human Needs Committee. He was also a member of the Finance and Audit Committee. These committees help make decisions about health services and money for the county.
Joining the State Assembly
Moore Omokunde first tried to join the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2018. He ran for the 16th Assembly District seat. The person who held the seat, Leon Young, decided not to run again. This opened up the spot for new candidates.
Even though he had support from the Wisconsin Working Families Party, he did not win that election. He lost to Kalan Haywood, who became the youngest state lawmaker in Wisconsin history.
In 2020, the Assemblyman for the 17th district, David Crowley, left his position. Moore Omokunde then decided to run for this open seat. He won the Democratic primary election with 48% of the votes. He then won the general election against Republican Abie Eisenbach. After winning, he left his position on the County Board in December 2020 to start his new role in the State Assembly.
Family and Community Work
Supreme Moore Omokunde is the son of Gwen Moore. She has been Milwaukee's representative in the United States House of Representatives since 2005.
He is also involved in other community activities. He is a member of the Milwaukee Public Museum Board of Directors. He also used to be a Commissioner on the Milwaukee County Human Rights Commission. These roles show his dedication to his community.
