Supreme Moore Omokunde (born August 22, 1979) is an American community organizer and Democratic politician. He is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has also been known by the names Sowande Ajumoke Omokunde and Supreme Solar Allah.
He is currently a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. He has represented Wisconsin's 17th Assembly district since 2021. Before this, he was a member of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors from 2015 to 2020. He is the son of U.S. Representative Gwen Moore.

About Supreme Moore Omokunde
Supreme Moore Omokunde was born and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has worked as a community organizer for different groups in Milwaukee. A community organizer helps people in a neighborhood work together to solve problems and make their area better. He worked for the Sherman Park Community Association, helping people in that community.
Serving on the Milwaukee County Board
In 2015, Supreme Moore Omokunde was elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. This happened in a special election. A special election is held when someone leaves office early. He took the place of David Bowen. David Bowen had been elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Moore Omokunde was re-elected to the County Board in 2016 and 2018. While on the County Board, he led the Health and Human Needs Committee. He was also a member of the Finance and Audit Committee. The County Board helps manage the local government for Milwaukee County.
Joining the Wisconsin State Assembly
In 2018, Moore Omokunde tried to get elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly for the first time. The State Assembly is part of the state government that makes laws for Wisconsin. He ran against Leon Young, who had been in office for a long time. Leon Young decided not to run again.
This meant many people ran for the open seat. Moore Omokunde got support from the Wisconsin Working Families Party. However, he lost the election by a small number of votes. He lost to Kalan Haywood, who became the youngest state lawmaker in Wisconsin history.
In 2020, the Assemblyman for the 17th district, David Crowley, left his job. He became the Milwaukee County Executive. Moore Omokunde then decided to run for this open seat. He won the Democratic primary election with 48% of the votes. A primary election is when people from the same political party vote to choose who will represent them in the main election.
He then won the general election against Republican Abie Eisenbach. After winning, Moore Omokunde left his seat on the County Board on December 18, 2020. This allowed him to start his new role in the State Assembly.
Personal Life and Family
Supreme Moore Omokunde is the son of Gwen Moore. His mother is a U.S. Representative for Milwaukee. She has been in the United States House of Representatives since 2005.
He is also a member of the Milwaukee Public Museum Board of Directors. He used to be a Commissioner on the Milwaukee County Human Rights Commission.
