Early Life and Education
Susana Giménez's mother was María Luisa Sanders, who had Irish family, and her father was Augusto Giménez Aubert, who had Spanish family. She went to school in Quilmes. She finished her studies at La Anunciata Collegiate. She became a primary school teacher, but she never worked in that job. Before she became famous, Susana worked for a few years as an executive secretary in a big factory.
A Star's Career
Becoming a Model and Actress
When Susana was 19, she started working as a model. She became well-known after appearing in a TV commercial for Cadum, a French soap brand. She then began her acting career. Susana acted in more than 30 films. Many of these were comedies where she starred alongside famous actors like Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel. She also performed in 10 plays. One of her most famous movies is the classic film La Mary.
Hosting Her Own Show

In 1962, when she was 18, Susana married a businessman named Mario Sarabayrouse. A year later, they had a daughter, Mercedes Sarabayrouse Giménez, who is Susana's only child.
Later, in 1974, Susana starred in the film La Mary. During the filming, she met the boxer Carlos Monzón, and they had a relationship for two years. Susana was also in a relationship with actor Ricardo Darín for nine years. Even after they broke up, they remained very good friends. Ricardo Darín was often the first guest on Susana's show each year.
In 1988, Susana married Huberto Roviralta, who was a polo player. They divorced in 1998.
Susana is a grandmother to two grandchildren, Lucía and Manuel, who are her daughter Mercedes's children. Her family and close friends often call her "Su," and this nickname has also been adopted by her fans.
