Susanne Nyström, born on December 29, 1982, in Laisvall, Sweden, is a well-known Swedish cross-country skier. Besides being an athlete, she also works as a nurse.
Susanne has been part of several ski clubs throughout her career. Some of these include Laisvalls SK, IFK Mora SK, Arvidsjaur Ski Team, Luleå Gjutarens IF, and Piteå Elit.

Tjejvasan Success
She won the Tjejvasan race an amazing six times! Her victories were in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013. In 2011, she came in second place.
Vasaloppet Champion
In 2010, Susanne achieved a special milestone. She won the main women's Vasaloppet competition. This made her the first person ever to win both the Tjejvasan and the Vasaloppet main race in the same year!
Swedish National Titles
Susanne has also won several gold medals at the Swedish national championships. These wins show she was one of the best skiers in her home country.
