As of the census of 2000, there were 2,134 people, 734 households, and 584 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 671.3 people per square mile (259.1/km²). There were 851 housing units at an average density of 267.7/sq mi (103.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.08% White, 0.75% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.37% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.61% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.89% of the population.
There were 734 households out of which 46.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.3% were married couples living together, 5.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.3% were non-families. 15.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.24.
