Susumu Oki (大木 勉, Ōki Susumu) was born on February 23, 1976. He is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means his main job was to score goals for his team.

Playing for Clubs

Susumu Oki started his professional football journey in 1995. He joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a well-known team in Japan. In his first few years, he didn't play in many matches.

In 2000, Oki moved to Oita Trinita for a short time. This team was in the J2 League, which is a division below the top league. After his loan, he returned to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2001. From then on, he played in many more games for the team.

By 2006, Oki faced some challenges with injuries. This meant he couldn't play as much as before. So, in 2007, he made a move to Ehime FC. This was a special move for him because Ehime FC was his local club, close to where he was born.

He continued to play many matches for Ehime FC in their younger team. However, from 2010, his chances to play in games became less frequent. Susumu Oki decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2012 season.

Playing for Japan

Susumu Oki also had the chance to represent his country. In April 1995, he was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team was preparing for a big tournament called the 1995 World Youth Championship.

During the championship, Oki played in all four matches for Japan. He even scored an important goal against the Chile team in their very first game.
