Svein "Chrico" Christiansen (born August 6, 1941 – died November 25, 2015) was a super talented Norwegian jazz musician. He played the drums and was famous for his many recordings. Svein was a very important part of the jazz music scene in Oslo, Norway.

A Musician's Journey
Svein Christiansen started playing the drums when he was young. He joined many different bands in the Oslo area. Some of these early groups included "Hot Saints" and "Veitvet musikkskoles storband." He also played with famous musicians like Oddvar Paulsen and Helge Hurum.
Playing with the Stars
Svein became a very popular drummer. He played on albums for many different artists. In the jazz world, he worked with stars like Terje Rypdal on his album Odyssey. He also played with Radka Toneff and Jon Eberson.
