Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino is a fun place in Lemoore, California. It is an Indian casino and a hotel located on the land of the Santa Rosa Rancheria tribe. This means it is owned and run by the Native American tribe who live there.
History of Tachi Palace
The building first opened on November 4, 1983. It was called the Southgate Bingo Palace and cost about $1 million to build. It had 1,100 seats for playing bingo.
After only seven months, the money spent on building it was earned back. The tribe then started to receive payments from the bingo hall.
By 1986, the bingo hall was updated to be "the most luxurious bingo hall in the state." The tribe used the money earned to help their community. They funded things like youth sports programs and college scholarships. They also used the money to build new homes for tribal members.
In 1994, the tribe took over running the bingo hall themselves. They changed its name to the Palace Indian Gaming Center. Soon after, they added slot machines.
In 2005, the building got much bigger and was renamed Tachi Palace.
A year later, in 2006, a large hotel was added to the property. This hotel has seven floors and 255 rooms for guests. The hotel is shaped like a half-circle, with plans to make it a full circle one day.

In 2012, the tribal leaders decided to stop hosting MMA events. But they changed their minds in 2013, and the fights started again.
