Musical Career
First Recordings
The attention from the Searchlight competition helped launch Anthony's recording career. Later in 2016, he released his first short album, called an EP (Extended Play), titled Die for You. A song from this EP, "Know Better," became very popular. It was played a lot on the radio and was named one of the top Canadian songs of the year.
In 2017, he released his second EP, Remember When.
Rise to Fame
After his first two EPs, Anthony took some time to develop his musical style. He returned in 2020 with new songs, including "Live in a Dream" and "No Good." These songs were part of his third EP, The Way You See Me.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, it was difficult to tour and perform live. To promote his new music, Anthony performed in a special online concert for Sudbury Pride's digital festival.
His hard work paid off. The EP The Way You See Me was nominated for a Juno Award in 2022. The Junos are Canada's biggest music awards, similar to the Grammys in the United States. His nomination was for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
