Taisei Fujita's Football Journey

Starting His Career

Taisei Fujita was born in Kuroshio, Kochi, Japan, on January 31, 1982. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career. In 2000, he joined Nagoya Grampus Eight. This club played in the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan.

During his first year, Fujita played in many matches. He often played as a "side back," which is a defender who also helps with attacking down the sides of the field. However, from 2001 to 2004, he did not play as often for Nagoya Grampus Eight.

Moving to New Teams

In 2005, Fujita moved to another J1 League club, FC Tokyo. He played in all the matches for the 2005 J.League Cup, which is a different competition from the main league. But he did not play in any of the regular league matches that year.

The next year, in 2006, he joined Tokyo Verdy. This club was in the J2 League, which is the second-highest league in Japan. He played in many games as a side back for Tokyo Verdy in 2006. However, in 2007, he did not get to play as much.

Becoming a Regular Player

In 2008, Fujita moved to another J2 League team called Tokushima Vortis. Here, he became a "regular player," meaning he played almost every game. He usually played as a left side back. But in 2009, his playing time started to decrease again.

Final Years in Football

In 2010, Taisei Fujita joined FC Machida Zelvia. This club was in the Japan Football League (JFL) at the time. He became a regular player for them. His team did very well, and in 2012, they were promoted to the J2 League.

Even though FC Machida Zelvia went back down to the JFL in 2013, they were promoted again in 2014 to the new J3 League. In his final season, Fujita did not play in many matches. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2014 season.
