Takahiro Kawamura (河村 崇大, Kawamura Takahiro, born October 4, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder.

Takahiro Kawamura's Football Journey

Takahiro Kawamura was born in Shimada, Japan, on October 4, 1979. He started his football career early. In 1998, he joined the youth team of Júbilo Iwata. This was a top club in the J1 League.

In 1999, Takahiro went on loan to River Plate. This is a famous club in Argentina. He returned to Júbilo Iwata and became an important player. From 2001, he often played as a defensive midfielder.

His team, Júbilo Iwata, had great success during this time. They won the J1 League championship in 2002. They also won the 2003 Emperor's Cup in 2003.

After 2005, Takahiro played less often for Júbilo Iwata. In 2006, he moved to Cerezo Osaka. He played many matches there. However, the club moved down to the J2 League at the end of that season.

In 2007, Takahiro joined Kawasaki Frontale. He did not play as much, but the team finished second in the 2007 J.League Cup. In 2008, he went back to Júbilo Iwata for a short time.

In 2009, he moved to Tokyo Verdy, a J2 League club. He played many games for them. In 2010, Takahiro moved to Thailand. He played for several Thai clubs. These included Police United (2010), TOT (2011–2015), and BEC Tero Sasana (2016). He stopped playing football at the end of the 2016 season.
