Takanobu Komiyama (小宮山 尊信, born 3 October 1984 in Chiba, Japan) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Komiyama was known for his strong defense and accurate passes. He last played for the J2 League team Yokohama FC.

Takanobu Komiyama's Football Journey
Early Career and University Success
Takanobu Komiyama started his football journey at a young age. He played for youth teams before joining Juntendo University. While at university, he showed great talent. In 2005, he was part of the Japanese team. This team won a gold medal in football at the 2005 Summer Universiade. This big sports event took place in Turkey.
Joining Professional Teams
In 2006, Komiyama joined Yokohama F. Marinos. This was part of a special program for young players. He made his first professional appearance for the club that year. By 2007, he became a full professional player with Yokohama F. Marinos. His skills even caught the eye of the national team coach, Ivica Osim. Komiyama was called up for the national team in 2007. However, he did not play in any official games for Japan.
Playing for Kawasaki Frontale and Yokohama FC
After playing for Yokohama F. Marinos, Komiyama moved to Kawasaki Frontale. He played there for several years, from 2010 to 2016. He was a key player for them. Later, in 2017, he joined Yokohama FC. He played one season with them before ending his professional career.
First Game in the J-League
Takanobu Komiyama's first game in the J.League was on 12 August 2006. His team, Yokohama F. Marinos, played against Kawasaki Frontale. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. It took place at the Todoroki Athletics Stadium.
