Takayoshi Yamano (山野 孝義, Yamano Takayoshi, born April 5, 1955) is a former Japanese football player. He was born on April 5, 1955. Yamano played as a defender. He played for several clubs in Japan. He also represented his country on the Japan national team.

Playing for Clubs

Takayoshi Yamano started his football journey in Osaka, Japan. After finishing college, he joined a local team called Yanmar Diesel in 1978. This team was very successful. They won the top league championship in 1980. The club also won the JSL Cup twice. These wins were in 1983 and 1984. In 1985, Yamano moved to another team, Osaka Gas. He played there until he stopped playing professional football in 1991.

Playing for Japan

Yamano also had the honor of playing for his country. He joined the Japan national team. His first game for Japan was on June 11, 1980. They played against China. In total, he played two games for Japan in 1980.
