Takayuki Mae (前 貴之, Mae Takayuki, born September 16, 1993) is a Japanese football player. He is also known as Chamaesama. Takayuki plays as a defender. He currently plays for JEF United Chiba.

Playing Career
Takayuki Mae started his football journey in Sapporo, Japan. He played for the youth team of Consadole Sapporo. He then joined their main team in 2011.
Early Club Moves
In 2014, Takayuki went on loan to Kataller Toyama. This was a chance for him to gain more experience. The next year, in 2015, he also played one game for the J. League U-22 team. This team helps young players develop their skills.
Joining Renofa Yamaguchi
In 2017, Takayuki moved to Renofa Yamaguchi on a loan. He played well there. Because of his good performance, he joined Renofa Yamaguchi permanently in December 2017. He played many games for them over the next two years.
Time at Yokohama F. Marinos and Matsumoto Yamaga
In 2020, Takayuki joined Yokohama F. Marinos. Later that year, he went on loan to Matsumoto Yamaga. He played 24 games for them during this loan.
In 2021, Takayuki signed a permanent deal with Matsumoto Yamaga. He scored his first goal for them in August 2021. This was against Blaublitz Akita. He faced a small injury to his knee later that month.
Return to Renofa Yamaguchi
In August 2022, Takayuki Mae returned to his former club, Renofa Yamaguchi. He quickly made his debut for them. He scored his first goal in his second spell in September 2022. This goal was against Zweigen Kanazawa. In both 2023 and 2024, he was chosen as the team's vice-captain. He had a minor hip injury in May 2023.
Moving to JEF United Chiba
On December 24, 2024, it was announced that Takayuki Mae would join JEF United Chiba. He will start playing for them in the 2025 season.
International Experience
Takayuki Mae was called to train with the U-21 Japan national team. This happened in June 2014. It was an important step in his career.
Family Life
Takayuki has a younger brother named Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki is also a professional football player. He currently plays for Machida Zelvia.
