Takuro Yajima (矢島 卓郎, Yajima Takuro, born 28 March 1984) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward during his career.
Takuro Yajima's Football Journey
Takuro Yajima started his professional football journey with Kawasaki Frontale. At that time, Kawasaki Frontale was part of the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football division. He played only one match for them before moving to another team.
In 2006, Yajima joined Shimizu S-Pulse, a team in the J1 League. The J1 League is the top football league in Japan. He quickly became a regular player for S-Pulse, often playing alongside another forward, Cho Jae-Jin. Takuro Yajima scored his very first goal in the J.League in April 2006. This important goal happened during a match against Gamba Osaka.
After playing for Shimizu S-Pulse for a few years, Takuro Yajima transferred back to his first club, Kawasaki Frontale, in January 2009. He continued his career there, scoring more goals and helping his team. Later in his career, he also played for Yokohama F. Marinos and Kyoto Sanga FC.
