Tal Geula Malkin, born in 1970, is a brilliant scientist from Israel and America. She is a professor of computer science at Columbia University. At Columbia, she leads the Cryptography Lab. She also helps direct the Cybersecurity Center.

Tal Malkin studied a lot! She graduated from Bar-Ilan University in 1993. She earned a bachelor's degree in math and computer science. She finished with the highest honors.

While studying, she also worked as an intern. She helped at IBM Research and AT&T Labs. In 2003, she joined Columbia University as a professor. She became a full professor there in 2009.
