Tales of the Tooth Fairies is a fun children's television programme created by Françoise Caspan. It's all about two special mice, Gisele and Martin, who act like "tooth fairies." They are called "tooth mice."

When a child loses a milk tooth, Gisele and Martin get to work. With help from their friend Arthur, they collect the tooth. Then, they leave a perfect gift for the child. They do all this following orders from their boss, Queen Elisa. The show was first shown on BBC One in the UK. It aired from September 7 to December 14, 1993.

Meet the Characters

This show features a small group of main characters who go on exciting adventures.

  • Gisele: She is one of the tooth mice. Gisele is usually the one who collects the lost tooth. She also carefully places the special present under the child's pillow.
  • Martin: He is Gisele's partner. Martin often helps by throwing a grappling hook and line. This allows Gisele to climb up to windows and into rooms.
  • Arthur: Arthur is a helpful cormorant, which is a type of bird. He gives Gisele and Martin rides to different places. He also makes sure no one stops them from doing their important job.
  • Queen Elisa: She is the queen of the Milk Teeth Kingdom. Queen Elisa is a bit bossy and snappy. She decides what special gifts Gisele and Martin should exchange for the milk teeth.
  • Roland Rat: This character is a troublemaker. Roland Rat loves to try and steal the presents that the tooth mice are delivering. Luckily, he is always stopped!
  • Romuald the Reindeer: Romuald is another character who sometimes helps the tooth mice on their missions.
