Romuald the Reindeer is a fun animated TV show from Britain. It was created by Robin Lyons and Andrew Offiler. The show was made by companies like Siriol Productions and La Fabrique. It first aired on the BBC on 24 September 1996.
The series is all about the adventures of a Christmas reindeer named Romuald. This character had actually appeared before in other specials. These included Santa and the Tooth Fairies and Santa's First Christmas. Romuald also showed up in an episode of Tales of the Tooth Fairies. The story takes place in a special place called Reindeersville. This town is in Lapland, a snowy region known for reindeer. All the reindeer in Reindeersville can fly! They also use their antlers like hands. This means they can play instruments or pick up phones with them.
The main character is Romuald Haroldson. He is a teenage reindeer who often feels a bit gloomy. The show follows his funny and sometimes tricky adventures. Even when things go wrong, Romuald usually finds a way to make them right.

- Ulrika Haroldson is Romuald's younger sister. She is three and a half years old. Ulrika usually gets what she wants at home. She loves to tease her older brother, Romuald. Julie Higginson is the voice of Ulrika.
- Harold and Hilda Haroldson are Romuald and Ulrika's parents. Harold is a typical working reindeer. Hilda loves to knit and is always making something. They don't always understand Romuald's teenage worries. They also find it hard to say "no" to Ulrika. Harold is voiced by Jonathan Kydd. Emma Wray voices Hilda.
- Grandpa Ivy is an older, wise member of Santa's elves. He looks after the sheep in Lapland. He also teaches classes at the reindeer school. Kenneth Waller is the voice of Grandpa Ivy.
- Clint, Kirk and Burt are the local reindeer bullies. They enjoy making life difficult for others, especially Romuald. All three wear cool leather jackets. Clint wears sunglasses, Kirk has a cap on his antlers, and Burt always has a black eye. Burt's antlers even wear boxing gloves! Arthur Smith voices Clint. Kirk is voiced by Jonathan Kydd. Christian Rodska voices Burt.
