Tameza is a small area in northern Spain. It is one of two main parts, called parishes, that make up the municipality of Yernes y Tameza. This area is located in the region of Asturias.
Tameza is found high up in the mountains, about 900 meters (2,953 feet) above the sea. The parish covers an area of about 14.74 square kilometers (5.69 square miles). In 2009, about 97 people lived there. The time zone for Tameza is UTC+1, which means it is one hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. During daylight saving time, it moves to UTC+2.
