Her Journey in Beauty Contests
Tania Medina has taken part in many beauty contests. In 2000, she was in Miss Dominican Republic US. The next year, in 2001, she represented the Dominican Republic in Miss Millennium Universe. That same year, she was the first runner-up in Miss American Continent.
In 2006, she joined the Miss Dominican Republic contest. She represented her hometown, La Romana. She made it to the semifinals and finished in seventh place. Later that year, she also competed in Miss Mundo Dominicana 2006 and placed third.
Tania as a TV Host and Writer
Beyond beauty contests, Tania has appeared on many TV shows. You might have seen her on channels like Univisión and Telemundo. She has also been featured in famous magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, L'Officiel, and Elle.
In 2022, Tania shared her first book with the world. It is called La belleza de amarme, which means "The beauty of loving myself."
Her Medical Career
Tania Medina is also a very skilled doctor. She studied medicine at the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC). She then became a specialist in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. She completed her training at the Dr. Salvador Gautier Hospital.
She is a member of the Dominican Medical Association. She also belongs to the Dominican Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Tania works with other private plastic surgeons in the country.
Tania's Family Life
Tania Medina was married to Pablo García, who is also a surgeon. They got married in 2007. Together, they have four children: Daniella, Letizia, Paula, and Pablo. Tania Medina is currently single.
