Famous Tech Hubs in Taramani

One of the most famous places here is Tidel Park. This was the very first IT park built in South India! It's a huge building where many technology companies have their offices.

Besides Tidel Park, Taramani is also home to other important IT parks. These include Ascendas IT Park, Ramanujam IT Park, Elnet Software City, and TICEL Biotech Park. These parks help create many jobs and bring new technology to the region.

MGR Film City

The MGR Film City was built in Taramani in 1996. It's a special place where movies and TV shows can be filmed. It has different sets, studios, and everything needed to make films.

This Film City was a big project started by J. Jayalalithaa, who was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at the time. A Chief Minister is like the head of the government for a state in India. She started this project during her first time in office.
