Taree railway station is a train station found on the North Coast line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the town of Taree. The station first opened on 5 February 1913. At that time, it was the end of the train line. Later, on 12 April 1915, the line was extended further. Taree station used to have many places to fix and store train engines. Today, it is an important part of the area's history. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Taree station has one main platform for trains. Across from it, there is a train yard where trains can be stored.

  • Northbound Trains: Every day, XPT trains travel north from Taree. These trains go to places like Grafton, Casino, and Brisbane.
  • Southbound Trains: Three trains travel south each day. These trains go to Sydney.
  • Coach Services: The station also has daily bus services. These buses connect Taree to Broadmeadow. They are run by Busways and are known as routes 150 and 151.
