Taylor's Time on Big Brother
Taylor Hale became a contestant on Big Brother 24, a popular reality TV show, on July 5, 2022.
Big Brother 24 Challenges and Wins
When Taylor first entered the Big Brother house, some of her fellow housemates treated her unfairly. This made her an early target, and she was nominated to be voted out in the first two weeks. She also faced unkind comments about her looks and personality.
Things changed for Taylor in the third week when she joined a group called "The Leftovers" alliance. This group helped keep her safe for the rest of the season. Taylor showed her strength by winning two "Head of Household" competitions. These wins gave her power in the game during weeks six and eleven.
Taylor went on to win the grand prize of $750,000 from the show's jury. She won by a vote of 8–1 against another contestant named Monte Taylor. This made her the first African American woman to win a regular season of Big Brother. She also became the first houseguest ever to win both the main game and the "America's Favorite Houseguest" prize, which gave her an extra $50,000. With a total of $800,000 in winnings, Taylor Hale has won the most money of any houseguest in the history of the series!
Big Brother Reindeer Games
In 2023, Taylor returned to the Big Brother world to compete in a special holiday version of the show called Big Brother Reindeer Games. She performed very well and finished as the runner-up in that season.
