Tboung Khmum is a province located in the eastern part of Cambodia. Its name means "bee's bellybutton" in the Khmer language. The capital city of Tboung Khmum is Suong. This province is known for its rich agricultural lands.

About Tboung Khmum Province
Tboung Khmum is one of Cambodia's newer provinces. It was officially created on December 31, 2013. Before this date, the area was part of the larger Kampong Cham Province. The Cambodian government decided to split Kampong Cham into two separate provinces to make it easier to manage and develop the region.
Where is Tboung Khmum?
Tboung Khmum is located in southeastern Cambodia. It shares borders with other Cambodian provinces like Kampong Cham Province to the west, Prey Veng Province to the south, and Kratié Province to the north. To the east, it borders Vietnam. The Mekong River, one of Asia's longest rivers, flows near the province, helping to make the land fertile for farming.

According to the 2019 census, about 775,296 people live in Tboung Khmum Province. This makes it one of the more populated areas in Cambodia. The people living here are mostly farmers, growing crops like rubber, cashews, and various fruits.
