Awards and Recognition

Who I'm Not

In 2013, Ted Staunton wrote a book called Who I'm Not. This story is about a teenager who has lost his name and learns to help a trickster with their plans. The idea for the book came from a real-life story about Frédéric Bourdin.

A book reviewer named Cecile Sune said that if the story wasn't based on real events, it might seem too unbelievable. But because it's true, it becomes a fast and fun story. She also noted that the ending of the book is different from what happened in real life, which she liked.

In 2014, Quill & Quire magazine announced that Who I'm Not won The John Spray Mystery Award. This is a special award for mystery books.
