Teejay Madrilejo, who is better known by his screen name Teejay Marquez, is a popular Filipino actor, dancer, and model. He is known for his work in television shows and movies and is currently signed with Regal Entertainment's talent agency, ALV Talent Circuit.
Marquez became very well-known for his main role in the popular boys love series Ben X Jim. Besides acting, he is also a television personality, a singer, and a vlogger.
Acting Career
Teejay Marquez began his acting career in 2009. Over the years, he has appeared in many different television shows and films, showing his talent in both drama and comedy.
Television Roles
Teejay has been a familiar face on Philippine television since the early 2010s. He started with a role in the teen drama Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts, which was a big hit. He also became a co-host on the variety show Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
Some of his other notable TV appearances include:
- Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin (2011–2012) as Victor
- Pyra: Babaeng Apoy (2013) as Beto
- Dream Dad (2015) as Jake Sta. Maria
- The Greatest Love (2016) as the teenage version of Andrei Alegre
- Siapa Takut Jatuh Cinta (2017–2018), an Indonesian TV series where he played Sean Adijaya
- Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss (2022), where he played his first role as a villain, Raven Lim
- Makiling (2024) as another villain, Oliver Vergel
His most famous role was as Ben Mendoza in the 2020 web series Ben X Jim and its 2021 sequel, Ben X Jim Forever. This series was very popular and gained him many fans.
Film Roles
Teejay has also acted in several movies. He made his film debut in 2009 in Ang Tanging Pamilya (A Marry-Go-Round!). He later appeared in the horror film Basement in 2014.
