Tetsuya Okayama (岡山 哲也, Okayama Tetsuya, born August 27, 1973) is a former Japanese football player. He was a talented midfielder who played for several clubs during his career.

Tetsuya Okayama's Football Journey
Tetsuya Okayama was born in Nagoya, Japan, on August 27, 1973. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career.
Starting with Nagoya Grampus Eight
In 1992, Tetsuya joined his hometown club, Nagoya Grampus Eight. He quickly became a key player for the team. By 1995, he was a regular offensive midfielder. He played many matches for the club over a long period.
Winning Championships
During his time with Nagoya Grampus Eight, Tetsuya helped his team achieve great success. They won the Emperor's Cup twice. These victories happened in 1995 and 1999. The club also did well in Asia, finishing second in the 1996–97 Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
Moving to New Teams
After many successful years with Nagoya Grampus Eight, Tetsuya moved to Albirex Niigata in 2005. He played there for two seasons. In 2007, he moved to Albirex Niigata Singapore. He played his final seasons with this club. Tetsuya Okayama retired from professional football at the end of the 2008 season.
