First Play Adaptation

A play based on That Scatterbrain Booky first appeared in November 1986. It was shown at the Cascade Theatre as part of the 10th Annual Children's Book Festival. This festival was held at the famous Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.

The Musical Version

A brand new musical, created by Joey Miller, started playing in March 1991. It was performed at the Young People's Theatre in Toronto and ran for at least two months, entertaining many young audiences.

Awards for the Musical

The musical was a big success and received many nominations for the 1991 Dora Mavor Moore Awards. These awards celebrate the best in Toronto theatre. The musical was nominated for eight awards and won three of them!
