About The Adrenaline Project
How the Game Works
In Season 1, five teenagers competed each week. They faced tough physical and mental challenges. After the first round, only three teens moved on. These three then battled it out to win the main competition and cool prizes.
Season 2 changed the game a bit. Six teens competed each week in a big tournament. This tournament lasted for half of the season. There were two semi-final rounds. In each semi-final, five weekly winners and one "wild card" contestant competed. The two winners from the semi-finals then went to the grand final. There, they faced three final challenges to find out who would be the "Ultimate Adrenalite."
The second half of Season 2 featured 60 brand new competitors. They followed the same tournament style. Winners of this season also got an amazing trip to Walt Disney World! Nano Clow is known as the current "Ultimate Adrenalite" champion.
Canadian vs. American Broadcasts
Even though The Adrenaline Project was made in Canada, the version shown on YTV was a little different from the one on 4Kids TV in the US. The American broadcasts sometimes showed fun facts or trivia about the challenges on screen. This special trivia did not appear in the Canadian version on YTV. The show also used to air in Latin America on Boomerang.
Meet the Hosts
Caz: Season 1 Co-Host
Caz was a co-host for the first season of The Adrenaline Project. Each week, after Boomer's first training rounds, Caz would join the three remaining contestants. He would travel with them to the special location for the final challenge. Caz would guide them through the final task, even though the contestants didn't know what they were getting into until the last minute! Caz did not appear in Season 2.
Boomer: The Main Trainer
Boomer was in charge of the basic training for all five contestants in Season 1. During the first two rounds, the person in last place was eliminated. In Season 2, Boomer became the only host of the show. He led the basic training for the six contestants and hosted all three challenges in each episode.
