The Adventures of the Terrible Ten was a popular Australian children's TV show. It was first called Ten Town. The show aired from 1959 to 1960. It was filmed in the countryside of Victoria.

This exciting series had 52 episodes. Each episode was about 10 minutes long. Later, the original episodes were changed and new parts were added. This new version was released in 1962 as The Ten Again. The show first appeared on GTV-9. Later, all the repeat episodes were shown on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

From TV Show to Movie

In 1965, a movie based on the TV series was made. This movie was in colour and was called Funny Things Happen Down Under. It was a special film because it was the very first movie for the famous singer and actress Olivia Newton-John.
