The Amazing Adventures of Morph is a fun British TV show. It uses a special kind of animation called stop-motion. This means characters are made of clay and moved tiny bits at a time for each photo. When you play the photos fast, it looks like they are moving! The show was made by Aardman Animations and aired from 1980 to 1981. It stars a cool character named Morph and his best friend, Chas, who is cream-coloured.

How the Show Was Made
Morph first showed up on a kids' art TV show called Take Hart in 1977. He was with the artist Tony Hart. Morph became super popular! Because everyone loved him so much, the BBC decided to make a whole new show just for Morph. This new show, The Amazing Adventures of Morph, had 26 episodes. Each episode was about 5 minutes long.
Meet the Characters
Besides Morph and his cream-coloured best friend Chas, many other fun characters joined the show.
- Folly is a girl made of tinfoil.
- Gillespie is a big, blue character who is a bit silly.
- GrandMorph is an older version of Morph with a grey beard. He loves to invent things and ride his skateboard.
- Delilah is a blonde girl who wears a yellow dress and glasses. She often acts as the sensible one.
- Nailbrush is a dog made from a nailbrush.
- Gobbledygook is a green alien.
- The Very Small Creatures are tiny characters who also appear.
Some of these characters, like Folly and Gillespie, even made short appearances in the Take Hart show before getting their own series.
