What's the Story About?
The movie tells the story of a young boy named Obaid. He faces a big decision: should he choose an easy life now, or work hard for a reward in the future?
King Narsis's Rule
The story happens during the time of King Narsis. He was a very strict ruler who controlled his people. He made them worship statues called idols. He also used the magic of his evil sorcerer, Cinatas, to scare everyone.
Obaid's Journey
Cinatas, the sorcerer, picks Obaid to be his student. He wants Obaid to help him with his magic. At first, Obaid is excited. He dreams of having power and being important as the king's next sorcerer.
But soon, Obaid starts to wonder if this is the right path. He meets a very good and wise man. This man helps Obaid understand what is truly important in life.
Seeking the Truth
The wise man tells Obaid that there is only one God, Allah. He explains that Allah created people to worship Him alone. Obaid feels that these words are true, but he is still a bit confused. The wise man tells Obaid to find the truth for himself. This is how Obaid's adventure to find the real meaning of life begins.
